HR as an accelerator to empowering the digitally connected workforce
The current crisis of Covid-19 has forced the world to acknowledge the power and need for digital technologies much faster than many countries and organizations were prepared for. From an initial focus of navigating remote work, it has also fuelled the need for traditional business and operating models to get reimagined and redesigned to manage such disruptions better in the future as well. As government, corporates and educational institutions ready themselves to not just survive this disruptive change but also thrive in it, the role of HR function has become extremely vital. HR necessarily has to take a lead in this transformation.
The session will provide a glimpse of some practical applications of digital technology in HR to manage Talent, highlight the critical success factors for digital evolution of an organization and offer insights on how HR can enable its organization’s leaders to succeed in the current environment.

Navigating the dark side of 'Professional Distancing'
To many Remote Working is the ultimate expression of flexibility and trust. It is believed to drive productivity and enhance worklife integration. But there is always a flipside that we need to be wary about. Professional distancing like social distancing will bring about challenges in replicating silos, building a coherent culture, creating engaged teamship. 'You cannot build a family and have children just by interacting via Zoom can you?'
